David Fertell, CEO and President

Mr. Fertell has a background in data networking, software design, robotic imaging and operations management. David received his MS degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Executive Studies at Stanford Graduate School of Business. David has used his background in the development of advanced launch systems for the United States Air Force and in the design of robotic manufacturing processes for leading automotive supply companies. He was an active participant in the Clinton Administration's efforts to protect children from the dangers posed by the Internet and is responsible for the go-to-market aspects of Pearl Software's cybersecurity products.

Joseph I. Field, CTO

Mr. Field has a background in electronic hardware and software development. Joe received his undergraduate and MSEE degrees from the University of Delaware. His area of research centered upon the ARPANET, which has evolved into the Internet of today. Joe has played a leading technical and management role in developing numerous commercial and industrial products, including industrial control products and systems, computer workstations and industrial data monitoring equipment. Joe is responsible for the technical execution of Pearl Software’s product roadmap. Joe has domain expertise in real-time Internet monitoring architectures and protocols and has been called upon to testify to the Congressional Committee on Cybersecurity.

Judith Fran, Director

Ms. Fran has a background in finance, tax, and law. Graduating with multiple degrees from the University of Delaware, Judith spent time in public accounting, evaluated contracts with a tier-1 Philadelphia law firm, then rounded out her business background as a controller for a major Philadelphia retailer before joining Pearl Software. In September 2000, Judith was offered sponsorship by the Safe America Foundation to participate on a national tour to raise awareness of the dangers of the Internet. Judith’s accomplishments have been widely recognized by industry peers, is a widely used resource in cybersecurity law enforcement and has been featured in various publications including Working Woman Magazine.

Christopher Todd, Director

Mr. Todd joined Pearl Software in 1999 after completing ten years in public accounting with a leading regionally based CPA firm. Christopher served as controller for a software developer serving industrial distributors. He has extensive audit and tax experience with a diverse industry base, including software, construction, and manufacturing companies. Christopher possesses a variety of specialized skills in financial modeling and cash management and maintains strong relationships with a network of local, regional and national financial entities.
